Admission Requirements

Students who are accepted to the Toulouse Graduate School and who have been accepted to work with a Major Professor from the Department of Geography and the Environment may be admitted to the Professional Master's program. Please submit a letter of intent directly to Dr. Harry Williams when you apply to the Professional Master's Program.

Application to the Toulouse Graduate School can be submitted online, or alternatively, paper copies can be mailed to the graduate school. More information for international applications can be found here.

Our professional master's program checklist specifies all of the information that must be sent to complete your application for admission. The checklist indicates which application items must be sent directly to UNT's Toulouse School of Graduate Studies, and which items must be sent to the geography faculty coordinator.

Admission Timeline

We accept applications for the Professional Master's program (non-thesis option) year round. Our deadlines for admission to the program are the same as the deadlines for applying to the Toulouse Graduate School: June 15 for fall admission and October 15 for spring admission.
