Professional Master’s

Core Areas

The professional master's is a non-thesis, professional degree to build analytical skills and enhance knowledge in geography. Students may pursue interests in any area of geography including applied research in water resources, health, medical, and business geography. Location intelligence and GIS are particularly suited to this degree, but students may pursue any area within geography. PROGRAM INFO

Admission Requirements

Students who are accepted to the Toulouse Graduate School and to work with a Major Professor from the Department of Geography and the Environment may apply for admission. Please submit a letter of intent directly to Mr. Scott Hanel when you apply. More information for international applications can be found here.

Admission Timeline

Applications for the Professional Master's program (non-thesis option) are accepted year round. Soft target dates are June 15 for fall admission and October 15 for spring admission, but applications will be reviewed throughout the year.
