ENV 337
"I chose to study Geography because it’s a field that connects people and nature, and I want to use my skills to help bridge the gap between these two worlds. I’m fascinated by the latest advancements in AI, especially how they can be applied to real-world problems, with a specific research interest in using deep learning algorithms to analyze LiDAR data. I chose UNT because the Geography program offers a concentration in Data Analytics, which perfectly aligns with my academic and career goals. Outside of academics, I love experimenting with musical instruments like the flute, piano, and guitar, even though I’m not particularly skilled at playing them. This year, I’m looking forward to meeting new people who share my interests, traveling across the country, and experiencing the diverse cultures the United States has to offer."
