Keshia Wilkins graduated with her AA from Spartanburg Methodist College and her BA in Music Therapy from Charleston Southern University. Prior to joining the Geography Department in October 2017, she was a Music Therapist in Tennessee with AmeriCorps Vista at the STAR Center, and then moved to Texas as a part-time contract Music Therapist and Life Enrichment assistant. Keshia is a current graduate student in the Interdisciplinary Studies program working on her graduate degree in Educational Psychology and Higher Education.

Fun fact: Keshia enjoys creative writing and has been published in her undergraduate college's literary publication the 'Sefer'. She was a semi-finalist in a poetry contest in 2007/2008 and was published in their 'Our 100 Most Famous Poets' publication.
