Do you like bees, butterflies, and WILD flowers? A new wildflower garden project is gearing up near Apogee stadium and you can help.
This project plans to use native plants beneficial to birds, bees, and various butterfly species, including beautiful monarchs, which are currently migrating south on their way to Mexico.
Every year, monarch butterflies migrate from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico, a distance of about 2,000 miles, and return north in the spring.
If you've never gardened before and want to spend some time outside, this is your chance. It is also a chance to meet students, faculty, and Dentonites of all kinds!
See you there!
