Our new students come to us from a variety of places within the U.S. and abroad (Nepal, India) and hold diverse interests. For example, under the supervision of department faculty, students plan to research topics ranging from lacunarity in remote sensing applications to urbanization impacts on Texas's Cross Timbers ecoregions to wetland mitigation and DFW's expanding urban population.
