Following a successful 2013 China Field School (photo 1), the 2015 China Field School (GEOG 4070/5075) is back and open to all UNT students for course credit!

Led by Dr. Pinliang Dong and Dr. Feifei Pan, participants in this study abroad program will spend 15 days (May 30 - June 14) visiting the cities of Beijing, Kunming, Dali, Lijiang and neighboring areas. Topics of study include physical geography, human geography, and environmental science. Students will also visit research institutions, universities, and historically and culturally significant sites. After completion of the program, students will receive 6 credit hours. The program is recruiting 3-5 more students. Scholarships are available through the Study Abroad Office.

If you are interested in this unique learning opportunity, please contact Dr. Dong (pdong@unt.edu) or Dr. Pan (Feifei.Pan@unt.edu) for more details. To reduce the cost of airfare, it is important to make a decision by February 1st. This program is also featured on the UNT Study Abroad website at:
