Research:

  • My research interests include geographic information science/system (GIS) and remote sensing (multispectral, hyperspectral, radar, and LiDAR). In recent years, my focus has been on light detection and ranging (LiDAR) data analysis and applications in forestry and vegetation mapping, urban environments, disaster damage assessment, and geosciences. Some of my research samples are shown below. I am always interested in talking with prospective graduate students in geography/geoscience, environmental science, and computer science and engineering about research options.
