The Creating Great Global Citizens Award, offered by UNT Sustainability, the Division of Equity & Diversity, and UNT International supports students who engage in activities that focus on developing a stronger approach to living sustainably, acceptance of other cultures, and tolerance of varying perspectives.

This year, UNT geography graduate student, Victoria Knaupp, received the Great Global Citizen Award for her dedication to social justice and environmental sustainability. Victoria has an extensive service background working for Campus Democrats, developing Sustainability Tours for the Office of Sustainability, and working on UNT's Discrimination policy as a representative of the LGBTQ community.
