Why? Melissa del Bosque will discuss her in-depth investigative reporting on the impacts and causes of migration and militarization along the Texas-Mexico Border in the post 9/11 era.
Melissa del Bosque joined The Texas Observer staff in 2008. She specializes in reporting on immigration and the U.S.-Mexico border. Her work has been featured in various national and international media outlets, including The Guardian, PBS, NPR and Marie Claire. Melissa is a 2015-16 Lannan Fellow at The Investigative Fund at The Nation Institute.
