M.S. Student Joshua Hodge receives funds to present research on Hurricane Impacts

Congratulations to M.S. student Joshua Hodge, who recently received two grants from the UNT Toulouse Graduate School and Raupe Travel fund to present his research at the American Association of Geographers (AAG) Meeting in Chicago last April. Joshua presented his master's thesis research "Assessing Post-Hurricane Rita & Ike sedimentation on the McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge, Texas: Implications for coastal marsh aggradation". Working under the supervision of Dr. Harry Williams, this research aims to improve our understanding of hurricane impacts on our nation's coastlines.
