Earth Week We Mean Green Awards

As part of Earth Week, the Office of Sustainability recognized individuals and groups for their sustainability work on campus and in the community. Senior Angie Holliday won Outstanding Student for her activist work on fracking in Denton and Geography won for Outstanding Department.

As part of the award ceremony, a tree was planted in honor of the former director of Facilities, Charlie Jackson. The students provided the labor while the "suits" watched far from the mud.
