British Isles Field School 2016

The British Isles Field School 2016 was another great success. A new faculty co-leader - Dr. Matt Fry - joined the field school and led the human geography exercises. This year students trekked to the top of Sheeps Head Tor, Dartmoor, met with former UNT professor Don Lyons in Cork, biked around Inish Mor near Galway, hiked up Mount Snowdon near Bangor, scaled Hadrian's Wall and had lunch on Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh. All of this while earning 6 hours of credit. The field school will be offered again in 2018.
